Jonathan Elias’ produced one of the most ambitious records of the year. ‘Prayer Cycle: Path to Zero’ is a collection of classically influenced world prayers featuring a stunning array of musicians and activists. Contributors include Sting, Robert Downey Jr., Sinead O’Connor, Serj Tankian and more. Proceeds from the record have been donated anti-nuclear proliferation organization Global Zero. The album is a sure-footed contender for a Best Contemporary Classical Composition GRAMMY nomination.
